This past week was surprisingly good for thrift store record scrounging. In one batch of records I found two that were autographed by the artist, including one by George Shearing. But I'll play that LP on another show.

So, tonight's 33.33 Reasons to Listen to Jazz will feature cuts from albums by Laurindo Almeida, Red Norvo, Doc Severinsen, Nick Brignola Quartet, and more. Take a listen starting at 7 pm EST at http://www.ashevillefm.org/stream/afm-stream-hi.m3u .
