Wave Gotik Treffen Festival 2011

Wave Gotik Treffen 2011 is happening this Friday the 10th thru Monday the 13th (it's a holiday in Germany!) and is expected to attract about 20,000 visitors from all across the world.

Wave Gotik Treffen (WGT) is the world’s largest festival for “dark culture” held every year in Leipzig, Germany (at about 40 venues across the city).

Regarded as the biggest international gathering of the “dark family”, this years Wave Gotik Treffen features over 250 performers covering the whole wide range of Gothic music: from Electro-Pop to Goth-Metal, from EBM to Neofolk, from medieval music to Industrial.

And I can't make it. Again. So this weeks "...And the Address" will take us to Leipzig via the music of many of the acts scheduled to play.

It will be dark and HEAVY ya'll! But as always FUN!
