Backdoor Disturbances loathe cliché and convenience as well as the confinement of categorical terminology required by blurbs of all sorts. Radio is about sound, however, and so that's the foundational and freeform denominator here. Expect to hear jazz every week, as well as overlapping racket and ruin, traditional and cultural variety, field recordings, spoken word with dashes of disrespect for classic anything, unless that seems demanded by the moment or, perhaps simply, whim. Otherwise, BDs are not a baby and do not need to be rocked, though they do like to hear wtf rock when it's okay to be loud, and that means dissimulative ambiguity and afternoon to me unless I feel otherwise, eh?

If, by some estrange coincidence, you happen to have had more than enough of heaven sent moisturizers—unwelcome drizzles and mists, snows, ice pellets or, simply, a per-petulant slop—then be sure to tune in today from 2-4 to the Dry Edition of Backdoor Disturbances.

All listeners are guaranteed 2 solid hours of scorching aridity with a dash of Opuntia bigelovii and, then again, at which point (granted a preponderant uncertainty), all ill-disposed memberance of water shall soundly vaporate.

Found a 6.5 page handwritten and photocopied document/confession stapled in double ziplock bags to telephone pole, topic: the evils of "forbidden to marry" based upon direct experience and the subsequent long term guilt effects extending beyond death and well into eternity due to having long ago committed a "forbidden to marry" apostasy and substantiated by scripture.
