The schedule keeps changing a bit, but it's all good. Today's guest on Holistic Harmony will be hypnotherapist Michelle Payton and we'll be learning more about, you guessed it, hypnotherapy! Interview with Michelle starts at 6 and runs straight through until 6:30. The vinyl sides hour will happen at the usual time (4-5). Tune in!
Holistic Harmony
Each week, Holistic Harmony features informative interview segments with a local holistic health practitioner, combined with a mix of jazz and other stuff shuffled in for funsies.
For too many years, the jazz lifestyle was associated with substance abuse and hard living. But to me, jazz and alternative health concepts are linked by the improvisational aspect. Jazz is defined by the ongoing musical dialog between musicians, improvisation and experimentation, while still having respect for the idiom. And those that are interested in and utilize holistic health concepts are improvising too, learning about new modalities, and trying to maintain wellness using things that work with and respect the systems of the body. And my guests and I will provide the dialog that we hope helps to empower you to take charge of your health. Learn about subjects like energy medicine, acupuncture, herbs and nutritional supplements, and much more.
The show format usually runs like this:
- the vinyl sides hour from 4:00 to 5:00 pm where I play complete sides of vintage and more obscure albums from my personal collection
- ten minute interviews with the guest at 5:30, 6:00, and 6:30, with music before and in between interviews, and for the last 20 minutes or so
Stayed tuned in, stay healthy, and dig that minor 9th arpeggio!

Holistic Harmony's Blog
Today's guest on Holistic Harmony is Lorraine Harris, and the topic will be the use of traditional Chinese medicine for infertility issues. The interview will start at 5 today instead of 5:30, and the vinyl sides hour will happen from 5:30 to 6:30. So... tune in!
Holistic business coach (and jazz vocalist) Eve Haslam is the guest. And the schedule is a little different too. Interview with Eve from 4:30 to 5, with the always anticipated vinyl sides hour after that. Tune in!
