For over two decades, Elithia's passions are mysticism, neuroscience, ancient mystery schools, and spiritual science. After designing a major in Human Consciousness from Stanford University, I worked in the field of neuroscience for a few years before realizing that science without mysticism is on the wrong track.

Since then, Elithia has travelled the world in search of teachings that retain the most wisdom. She's been guided to a better understanding of consciousness, through the union of science and spirituality. To better understand the nature of reality and what we are doing here, she delved deep into ancient ancestor wisdom, archaeology, ritual, geomancy, earth energies, magnetism, and tantric spirituality. Her great passion is to rediscover techniques of cultivating trance for healing, insight, and gnosis (instant, intuitive knowing).

Living Well is hosted by Dr. Bob Hanna and airs on Mondays, 11AM-12PMEST, on 103.3FM and streamed on www.ashevillefm.org. Check out Dr. Bob's website, www.bobhannaphd.com, to learn about his services and listen to the fantastic archive of Living Well shows.

Mindy was always a short, big-built gal with little interest in exercise until about 2012 when it was brought to her attention that she needed to make some changes to my lifestyle to ensure she didn't develop diabetes (runs in the family) or continue to battle weight gain. She’d jumped from a decent and healthy 140 pounds in college to a depressed, unhealthy and almost 215 pounds when I graduated from my graduate program (a 3 year difference). One day, she saw a little flyer in the YWCA Asheville's women's locker room that said, "want to run your first marathon with other newbies?".  So she jumped on board and trained for about 6 months for my first marathon with a small group of amazing souls.  Since then, she’s shed almost 60 pounds, and have become more interested in running as part of her lifestyle, as well as for health.  She’s now training for her hardest trail running event to-date, the Georgia Death Race on April 1, just tackled her first 50 mile trail race the first weekend in January. All of this requires discipline, mindful eating, dedicated sleep and rest, acceptance of boundaries and so much more.
