Today on Musical MIgrations, I will be paying a tribute to guitarist and ethnomusicologist Bob Brozman, who died on April 24. Bob was mostly known for his work as a blues guitarist but he played a wide variety of styles and most recently he traveled the world playing with great musicians such as Takashi Hiriyasu from Okinawa, guitar bands from Papua, New Guinea, René Lacaille from the Réunion islands, Cyril Pahinui and Ledward Kaapana from Hawaii, etc. Join me today for Musical Migrations from 1 to 4 p.m. as we tour around the world musically with Bob Brozman and many other musicians.

through the month of March as we celebrate women musicians around the world. That is Musical Migrations Wednesday's from 1 to 4 p.m.
The Celtic calendar had two seasons--beltane and samhain. Samhain, October 31, is the celebration of the dead and the nights when the fairies ride--otherwise known as Halloween or All Hallows' Eve. Join me on Musical MIgrations for October 31 from 1 to 4 p.m. for a celebration of this holiday and the turning towards winter while we try to stay warm.
