Heather Hogsed

Heather is not very good at bios- but will give it a shot. Host of Diet Riot, every Monday from 5 to 7pm EST, I've volunteered for two radio stations since 2007 and have learned some valuable lessons along the way: make sure to pronounce "Patti Smith" correctly, turning cell phone to vibrate can be quite provocative when speaking on air, and during interviews try not to overuse the phrase "tell me about that.." with a therapists tone.

I like to think that I'm a people's person- and are frequently stopped at local grocery stores and asked where products are located. I often have to tell people that I don't work at these establishments- but usually help them to their destination. Born in Brevard, N.C. and raised in Alabama, Fayetteville, NC, Wieterstadt and Schmittweiler, Germany, and San Antonio, TX. My favorite things are radio, travelling, antiques, autobiographies, fantasizing about being a homicide detective, photography, board games, poker, and live shows. In closing- I can't help but reminisce about the year that I wanted to meet (and be) Joe Elliot. So I am sharing my tribute to Def Leppard photograph. Cheers!
