I was born in a crossfire hurricane, and I howled at my ma in the drivin' rain. I was raised by a toothless, bearded hag. I was schooled with a strap right across my back.
Other than this completely bogus tale what can I reveal about myself...? Well, listen children and you shall hear...
I started DJing for WQFS at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. I enjoyed spinning vinyl and staying up late to broadcast good music. After I left Guilford I traveled the world (select parts anyway), ran a fig business, built some things, fought the man, and sang and danced my way back to Asheville, the town where I grew up.
I jumped on board with Asheville Free Media as soon as I learned about it's existence and soon found out that it was turning me into a super hero. I always wanted to be one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles... well, now my super hero transformation is nearly complete and I will finally be able to help save the world with my new found powers! I encourage everyone to do the same. In fact, just by listening to Asheville FM you pick up slight super hero capabilities! So keep listening, and volunteer as much as possible. Remember, you too can become a DJ and help me save the world with your immense musical power.
