Bio:

During the late 70's, I toured around with The Gary D. Rollins Band. We were moderately successful. We opened for the Atlanta Rhythm Section for 16 shows during the Midwest leg of their 1976 "Red Tape" Tour. I played the guitar and harmonica. In 1977, our album "Workin' on the Night Train" peaked at #197 on the Billboard 200.

Our popularity started to wane in the early 80's; we were playing a lot of drag strips and bingo halls. The band decided to split up and I started working as a roadie for REO Speedwagon; during this time I started going overboard with mind-altering drugs. It all came to a head in 1986 when I walked on stage during a Ricky Van Shelton concert and kicked his ass in front of 7,000 people. That incident landed me in jail for 6 days.

Starting in 1987, I started working the independent professional wrestling circuit. I was a masked wrestler known as "The Honky Tonk Dick." Despite being a sloppy fat ass, I got laid a lot during my wrestling days. I won the AIWF United States title twice. I almost made the big time; I received a try-out and worked a couple of dark matches with World Championship Wrestling in 1993 under the ring name "Dick Honky." That opportunity didn't pan out and I continued working small shows until going into semi-retirement in 1997 due to health concerns.

Since then I have worked as a roofer, drug dealer, construction worker, and line cook. Most recently I was fired from Taco Bell for attempting to steal nacho cheese.

I currently reside in Asheville, North Carolina and in my spare time I like working on old air conditioners and I am also attempting to write my memoirs titled "Bars, Scars, and Guitars."
