Sean Dennis

After being away from any sort of media for many years I was lured in by the smiling faces and free-form hijinx that constitute Asheville Free Media. In the early 2000s I served on the boards of the Poetic Jazz Society of Charleston and the Charleston Jazz Alliance. During my junior year of college I was GM of WODU AM 640 (Old Dominion University), at the time a tiny carrier-current station whose alumni include an ESPN Sportscenter anchor (Jay Harris), the VP of Talk and Entertainment Programming of Sirius XM (Jeremy Coleman), actor and Vanity Fair writer Ted Travelstead, and other interesting folk.

And in an ironic twist I am getting back into analog sound, especially jazz on vinyl, including hosting "33.33 Reasons to Listen to Jazz" right here on Asheville Free Media.
