Chicago blues belter Zora Young will be struttin' her stuff this week. Got some James Cotton for you from 1963 and the Notcho' Blues Artist this week is Eric Clapton with his Behind the Sun album. How about some Texas blues with Mike Morgan & the Crawl. Got the new release from Mississippi blues harp player, singer and songwriter, Grady Champion. You'll hear former Rolling Stones bass man with his band, Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings. Get back to blues roots with a contemporary twist ala Moreland & Arbuckle. Tune in Soul of the Blues this Friday from 7-9pm The Blueshound will bring you two hours of mind spooning, butt crooning blues! A special treat this week will be Asheville singer/songwriter/musician Zuzu Welsh in the studio. We'll be playing tracks and talking about his debut solo cd "The Road Less Traveled". I'll be spinning tunes by Lou Ann Barton, C.J. Chenier, Smokehouse and Erick Hovey. You'll hear the brand new release from young and talented blues singer/songwriter, Sena Ehrhart.
