The Gene Pool

From the bottom of the stations reject bin comes some of ear candy you almost never tasted. So put in your babblefish and tune in to this weeks episode of The Gene Pool. This might be our best show ever except that our boy turned man (Eli) will be AOWOL. (some of the previous statements are misleading). An exception to the previously mentioned theme is Jelly Roll by Asheville buskers Blind Boy Chocolate and the Milk Sheiks supporting genetic diversity.

Eli is MIA this week so Stella is the life guard of the gene pool. Our very lives are in her hands. Anything could happen and will. We are going to figure out how to use the phone in the studio so YOU can call in and ask awkward questions or make absurd suggestions. Oh yeah - the music - more singing about death, the devil, water,candy jail, a shady grove and I have no idea whet the Persian chick is singing about but when you hear her sing you will not want to bomb Iran.

Ok! I'm done with Patti Smith for now and into more music you have not heard before, Nigerian treats, new Nels Cline's fusion, Joanna Newsome's musings and dont miss the experimental surprise track. I will also again attempt to lure my children into a conversation about something important. All attempts thus far have been fruitless.
