Season 1, Episode 4 | Rest as Protest, Organizing Within.
This past week has been that of LEGENDS, with swift uprisings, protests, demonstrations, and reactive control by municipalities sweeping the nation, and globe. In this episode, I share my introverted processing on marching, protesting, and my struggle to stay in my rest, and to allow my ancestors to get their well-deserved justice. Rest IS protest.
Season 1, Episode 3 | Black Body. No Ally.
Grief is everywhere, and in everything. Everytime something changes, we grieve…as we let go. Why do we keep having to let go of so many black bodies? Why can’t we just be in our body if we’re not tryna hurt nobdy? Come ON somebody. I love my Black body.

In this episode, I share some facts that were shared by Dr. Rashid Buttar of Centers for Advanced Medicine, about the conditions that have created coronavirus, along with my own thoughts, questions and reminders about how we can create what’s next. In spite of everything, may we remember how deeply we leaned into community, care, connection, love, truth, and healing during this time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for!
Season 1, Episode 1 | Graduation.
Graduation day got cancelled…did you know that? Do you feel that…and did you hear me? One of the largest and most significant rights of passage in the Western, and global cultures IS NOT HAPPENING.…and if it was never clear just how much we need human connection, or just how much it serves us to slow down and reflect – now is the time to notice. Count your blessings. Express your gratitudes. Offer a moment of connection to a neighbor, friend, family member or stranger in need. Take time to yourself, without apology. Dive deep into a hobby, interest, your rest, or your grief. And know that while this is a time of uncertainty, there is MUCH to be harvested during this time. The time is NOW. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for!
