- Saturday, September 16, Tina and Her Pony live at Vintage Kava 141 Reems Creek Road Weaverville. Though originally founded as a duo by Tina Collins and Quetzal Jordan, these days the band is centered solely around the songwriting of front woman Tina Collins, Collins’ songwriting incorporates complexities in harmony and arrangement that queer the American folk tradition.
- Sunday September 17th New Belgium Brewery hosts the WTF Festival – What The …..no – WTF stands for Women To The Front and celebrates females in the music industry in Asheville, NC. Featuring live music by all female musicians, vendor spots for female-owned businesses and nonprofits, female sound engineers, female photographers and videographers, and female-owned food trucks. This event in its 2nd year will be held at New Belgium Brewing on September 17th 2023. It is a family friendly event and open to the public.

- Aloft Pool Party on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at 5pm Come splash and party at the top of downtown Asheville with epic DJ music and a drag performance poolside! This event kicks off Pride week and is a fundraiser for Blue Ridge Pride’s Community Drag Fund.
- Thursday September 28th – Saturday September 30th is Eastern Tennessee State University’s fifth annual Equity and Inclusion Conference. ETSU’s annual Equity and Inclusion Conference features keynote speakers and presenters from across the country, focusing on topics such as Appalachian identity, culture, race, and accessibility. This year’s conference theme is “Beyond ‘Checking a Box:’ Building and Sustaining Campus-Wide Engagement for Belonging.” The conference is open to the public. Enjoy beats by DJ Griffin White, specialty cocktails by Saint Brighid’s with a portion of the proceeds from the night will benefit Blue Ridge Pride.

Things kick off with the WNC Welcoming Procession 9:30 AM Join everyone as we walk and roll down Patton Ave. to the heart of Asheville’s downtown, Pack Square, where the festival awaits. Groups and individuals who wish to join can register at blueridgepride.org. Meet in the parking lot at 9:30, address sent to registrants closer to time, lineup at 10am and process at 10:30.
